I had seen on another website that the SC , muff was a slight performance improvement. This post shows even a little more, than I had thought. I have installed the OE SC muffler in my 87. ( Was the last one in Canada & possibly US) The engine did feel a little peppier, it also had a slightly nicer growl. A little louder not bad. Just a nicer sound
