AW11 NA & AE86 Test Pipe with Resonator

Test pipe bolts in place of catalytic converter in naturally aspirated AW11 MR2 and AE86 Corolla GT-S. Fits the car's original downpipe and muffler; any aftermarket muffler that is a true bolt-on for the naturally aspirated MkI MR2 should work with this test pipe.

This version of the standard test pipe for NA (naturally aspirated) AW11 MR2 has a 9" mini resonator incorporated to help control sound. The resonator has hundreds of micro-louvers for smooth flow, and it uses no packing, so its sound will not change over time.

If a catalytic converter is not required in your area, or if you are building a race car for which a catalytic converter is not required, an SV3Power test pipe is the perfect way to replace your existing (or missing) catalytic converter.

If you live within the United States, catalytic converters are required by federal law on any vehicle that was originally equipped with them. Regardless of state and local laws and inspection policies, these test pipes are not emissions legal in the United States of America.

Because these test pipes eliminate the car's catalytic converter, they are sold with the express understanding that they are for show or race use only, and are not for road or highway use.

Due to inconsistent manufacturing of OEM muffler, some mufflers may require that excess tubing be trimmed to fit this part.
