In this category we’ll take a look at the effects an exhaust system has on the car’s performance. Take a look at the articles by hovering over the Exhaust Tech tab at the top of any page. I’ll add more articles as they are written.

June 16, 2016 at 3:45 PMthanks for the reply above i know its been some time.
i was wondering would you be able to make turbo exhaust manifolds that wouldn’t hit the oil filter for the aw11?

June 25, 2016 at 10:31 AMI’m not set up to build turbo manifolds. I would suggest buying a setup from Matrix Garage.

Don’t let the oil filter get in the way of a good exhaust system. Relocating the oil filter is easier than engineering a header to go where it doesn’t want to go.

May 25, 2016 at 5:55 AMDo you know where I can locate an exhaust manifold for 88 Supercharged MR2?

May 26, 2016 at 10:56 AMHi Doug,
Try Lithia Toyota Parts. If new manifolds are still available, they can get one for you.
You can also replace the OEM manifold and downpipe with my stainless steel header and corresponding stainless steel downpipe.

January 19, 2016 at 9:51 AMhello i like your shop keeping the aw11 alive i was wondering if you do some custom work.
well what im asking is it would be cool if you could put in a exhaust cut out in the exhaust pipe that comes off the header to the exhaust. the two to one pipe. im thinking about make the cut out simular to the exhaust you guys made with the glass pack that made a good increase in hp.

January 22, 2016 at 5:12 PMManuel, thanks for the inquiry, but I am not set up to incorporate that kind of work. I actually wouldn’t recommend it; some of the cutouts on the market don’t last very long, and the brutal noise it makes isn’t worth the tiny extra amount of power you might (or might not) get.
